The 'Tree of Life' or 'World Tree' has appeared in myths, stories and legends around the world since ancient times. Connecting all things spiritual, physical, divine and mundane - the roots of the Tree touch all that is hidden and growing below while the branches reach the heavens and bring them together in harmony. In various cultures, it also symbolizes wisdom, protection, strength, bounty, beauty, and redemption.

The symbolism comes vividly to life in these Tree of Life pendants. The design was inspired by the crab apple tree in the next door neighbours back yard. The twisted & gnarly trunks and branches of these trees are individually hand-sculpted in wire, every one with a personality of its own. People who know me say that they can tell what mood I was in when I made each tree. No two will be exactly alike. Custom orders are available upon request and will depend on availability of the gemstone chips you desire.

The small Tree of Life pendants are composed of a 3 cm (1.18 inches) stainless steel outer ring, coated (non-tarnish) copper wire tree and genuine gemstone chips for leaves. The large Tree of Life pendants are made on a 3.5 cm (1.38 inches) stainless steel outer ring.

The photo depicts trees that have been sold, so you will see variations in the one that is crafted for you. They can be made with natural copper, dark brown or gunmetal coloured wire, with your choice of gemstone chips, depending upon availability.

Currently in stock are peridot (light green), citrine (yellow), amethyst (purple) and smoky quartz (dark grey). From time to time other varieties such as carnelian (orange), tanzanite (light blue), garnet (dark red), apatite (aqua), aventurine (dark green) and blue topaz (pale blue) may become available.
